Earth, Sun & Moon: Relative sizes and distances. Earth?s movement around the Sun. Moon?s movement around the Earth. Time cycles related to movements.
Changing States: Experiments related to the process of evaporation ? fair test, predict, measure, record, identify trends, draw conclusions. Back to top

Controlling devices: Use instructions to control a device. Develop techniques to control output devices by building a sequence of events. Use of Lego and Powerpoint.

Water: Information from maps, atlases, BBC website, Met Office. Where water comes from; how it gets to where it is needed;uses; experiments to purify water;visit to Water Treatment Plant;effects on environment; aid agencies in developing world. Back to top

DESIGN TECHNOLOGY
Design and make a moving toy using a mechanism. Back to top
MUSIC
Recorders: Control sound, Play from notation in rounds. Perform with others. Sing in unison & parts. Develop awareness of audience, venue, occasion. Develop musical vocabulary. Respond to music from differing traditions. Back to top
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Dance: Learn, create and perform different styles of dance. Explore movement and communicate ideas through dance.
